We are a Christ-centered congregation rooted in the historic Christian faith and guided by the authority of Scripture. As part of the evangelical, conservative, orthodox, and traditional (ECOT) stream within the United Church of Christ, we seek to follow Jesus faithfully, teach the Bible clearly, and live out the Gospel with both grace and truth.
We believe salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, that every person is created in God’s image, and that true identity, hope, and freedom are found in Him alone.

Sunday Worship
Who: All are welcome to worship with us. Sunday School is available for children ages 5-11 during the service. Families are encouraged to begin worship together, and after a brief children’s message with Pastor Jon, kids are invited to head downstairs for age-appropriate lessons. What: Our worship service includes prayer, Scripture, singing, fellowship, and preaching from God’s Word. Services last about one hour. Where: Zion is located in Baroda, MI, at 9100 Third St. Parking is available in both the front and back of the church. An elevator provides accessibility to the sanctuary and the lower level. Virtual service available on YouTube. When: Worship time is 9:30 am, followed by light refreshments and a time of fellowship. Why: To worship God, grow closer to Christ, experience the work of the Holy Spirit, and spread the Gospel into the world. (Acts 2:42). |

Sermon Series (9/6-11/22) The Gospel of Mark: God's Blueprint for Ambushing Evil Bread & Butter: We will meet from 6:30- 7:30 pm at the church on Wednesday, Oct. 7. Rehearsals: On Thursday, October 8 @ 6 pm, for bell rehearsal, and 7:15 pm for choir rehearsal. Ladies Fellowship: Our next meeting is Monday, October 6, at 1 pm in the Narthex. Please come join us as we will be putting together a little something for our shut-ins. We will also start planning a Soup & Salad luncheon along with refreshments & socializing. All ladies welcome. Sunday School will run year-round and occur during the service. By doing it this way, kids can get more age-appropriate education, parents can focus better on the sermon, and families can have more streamlined schedules. |
