He is not here! He is risen! Matthew 28:6 Dear Beloved of Zion UCC, “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:37 -40 Our Sunday School Team is participating in a Mini-Crop Walk on May 19 again this year to raise funds through Church World Service, and awareness for food and other programs to help feed the hungry in the world, as God has so called us to do! No one in this world should be hungry. That's why the CROP Hunger Walk is more than just a yearly gathering or event for us. It is our chance to help families who are struggling with hunger and concerned about where they'll find their next meal. The Walk is how we take action to make sure that one more person has enough to eat. We want to help as many people as we can in our community and around the world, and would love your support. Please join our youth in the fight against hunger by marching with us and/or making a donation! We will also collect change in a noisy offering in worship on May 4th! The steps we take - and the funds we raise - support programs that provide meals and other immediate support, as well as long-lasting solutions to hunger. You can donate here: https://events.crophungerwalk.org/cropwalks/team/zion-ucc-baroda or write a check and note Crop Walk on the memo line.
